FRIENDS OF HPL PRESENT THE ART OF THE SONG SERIES WITH SPECIAL GUEST LARA HERSCOVITCH

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26TH AT 7PM

The Art of the Song series at the Hadley Library will offer audiences special insight into the complex and storied craft of songwriting. Shows will begin and end with host Harry Remer and an accomplished local singer-songwriter performing original songs. In between, they will discuss the making of one of the guest’s songs—covering inspiration, process and discipline, overcoming doubt, and more—all in a spacious and attractive literary setting.

This month's guest is Lara Herscovitch, multi-award winning songwriter, and former Connecticut State Troubadour. Lara has appeared on the Telluride, Falcon Ridge, and Folk Alliance festival stages. The Boston Globe praised her “luminous voice,” “big-hearted lyrics,” and “buoyant stage presence.”
